The company
IGRALUB is a company based in Zurich. Since the end of 2022 it is a part of the RS Clare Group based in Liverpool GB. It has branch offices in Germany, Austria and the USA. The sales network covers other agencies in the Netherlands, Finland, Poland, Portugal, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Brazil, Tunisia and Australia.

LUBRICANTS and SYSTEMS
FOR RAILWAYS AND RAILWAY INSTALLATIONS
IGRALUB was founded by André Kofmehl in 1992 with partners from Germany in Zurich, Switzerland. Today, IGRALUB has subsidiaries and agencies in 16 countries (branch offices in Singapore, USA, and Germany), and has conducted about 250 project studies, and solution recommendations. Over 200 transit authorities around the world are using IGRALUB’s lubricants & systems, including operators of high speed rail, commuter and light-rail, streetcars, heavy-rail and heavy haul locomotives, as well as cog-rails, a specialty of our company.
IGRALUB has developed and delivered innovative and highly efficient lubricants and lubrication systems for railways, LRV, metros and trams. Igralub’s know-how helps to dramatically reduce wheel/rail wear and tear and reduce or even prevent the annoying train wheel/rail noises, such as curve squeaking. As a total services provider Igralub offers integral solutions and support over the complete life cycle.
Swiss know-how for curve noise solutions
IGRALUB has been dealing with the problem of rail squeak on bends for more than 25 years. This depth of experience guarantees comprehensive consultation for a successful solution. Igralub offers the high-tech lubricant HeadLub, optimal application systems, position dependent control system with GPS, service and support.
Wheel and rail management
IGRALUB offers as “Total Services Provider” wheel and rail lubrications systems from one source. This guarantees one contact person, compliant systems and lubricants that are effective, efficient and environmentally friendly. We provide support throughout all phases of a project, from problem identification and analysis to planning, engineering, after-sales and maintenance.
MONITORING OF VEHICLES AND INFRASTRUCTURE
Fleet Monitoring
Setup at neuralgic network knots, wayside monitoring units primarily collect sound and vibrational data of passing vehicles.
Infrastructure Monitoring
Train borne monitoring units installed in regular vehicles record noise, vibrational data and pantograph impacts. A few regular vehicles collect much more statistically robust data in considerable shorter time than dedicated measuring vehicles can do.
Automotive,Cranes and Industry Lubricants
Outside the transportation sector, IGRALUB is serving over 2500 customers in other industries and markets with unique application-specific high-tech lubricants for automotive, bike and bicycles, ma-chinery, overhead or gantry cranes, harbour cranes, special container handling systems and special-ties vehicles in amusement parks, mining and heavy steel plants. Our well-branded lubricants can be found in almost every bicycle shop around the world.
